Terquavion Smith has college basketball fans everywhere concerned about his injuries in Saturday’s rivalry showdown between NC State and North Carolina. Smith left the game on a stretcher after being attended to for what the team says are elbow and neck injuries.

Smith was injured on a Flagrant 2 foul that ejected Leaky Black from the game.

The injury silenced the Smith Center. An air cast was placed on Smith’s arm for the elbow injury. Wolfpack players gathered around their teammate as he was checked out by medical personnel. The crowd in Chapel Hill gave Smith a standing ovation once he was stabilized.

Smith was eventually taken off the court on a stretcher after medical staff initially used a stability board.

Smith had 12 points before his exit.
