A pair of 2024 Notre Dame commitments received major bumps in the latest top-250 update from Rivals.

Quarterback CJ Carr and defensive end Brandon Davis-Swain are now both inside the top-30 of Rivals’ latest update. Carr is inside the top-15 and is one of the top quarterback prospects in the country.

Carr moved up from No. 22 to No. 15, solidifying his case as a 5-star prospect per Rivals. He’s the No. 4 QB in the class according to the service. He ranks only behind Dylan Raiola, Julian Sayin and Jadyn Davis. Raiola is an Ohio State commitment.

Carr committed to Notre Dame earlier this summer. He’s the grandson of former longtime Michigan head coach Llyod Carr.

Davis-Swain had a more dramatic jump up the rankings. He rose 161 spots and now sits at No. 29 in the latest Rivals 250 update. He’s now a borderline 5-star prospect as he enters his senior season at West Bloomfield High School in Michigan.

It’s still early in the cycle, but Notre Dame and Ohio State are the only programs with multiple commitments in the Rivals top-30.

Notre Dame has 3 total commitments in the class of 2024.
