Notre Dame’s 2024 recruiting class is off to a great start.

With the 2023 class mostly now in the rearview mirror, the Fighting Irish will be able to re-focus their efforts onto 2024. It’s still early, but that process is going well so far for Notre Dame.

Notre Dame already has 7 commits in the class of 2024. The group ranks No. 2 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. 4-star quarterback CJ Carr is at the top of the class and could eventually earn 5-star status.

Looking ahead

Notre Dame has already checked off a big goal in landing an elite quarterback with Carr. He’s one of the top high school signal callers in the country and should give a nice boost for the Fighting Irish.

Elsewhere in the class, Notre Dame is balanced on the offensive side of the ball. Running back Aneyas Williams is Notre Dame’s most recent commit in this class. However, the Irish could make significant additions to this class on both sides of the ball in the coming months.

The class of 2023 will officially come to a close on National Signing Day in February.
