Julian Love is feeling the love from the Seattle Seahawks. The former Notre Dame safety and the Seahawks finalized a 2-year, $12 million deal on Friday according to reports.

Love was a standout talent in his collegiate years, joining Notre Dame as a true freshman in 2016. In his first year, Love played in 12 games with 8 starts, recording 45 tackles and 1 interception.

He bested those already impressive numbers in his sophomore campaign with 68 tackles and 3 interceptions. Love decided to forego his senior year at Notre Dame and declare for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Love was drafted in the fourth round, 108th overall, by the New York Giants. He remained with the Giants since he was drafted, becoming a Giants team captain and full-time starting safety.

Love led the team with 124 tackles and tied for the team lead with 2 interceptions this past season. In his four NFL seasons, Love has amassed 291 tackles and 5 interceptions.
