Notre Dame lands commitment from 4-star RB out of Texas
Notre Dame made a major addition to its 2024 recruiting class on Monday night.
The Fighting Irish picked up a commitment from 4-star running back Kedren Young.

Young also had offers from programs such as Texas A&M, TCU and Baylor, amongst others. He took an official visit to Notre Dame earlier this month.
He’s an elite running back prospect. Young is the No. 207 overall player and the No. 14 running back in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 41 player from the state of Texas.
Young attends Lufkin High School in Lufkin, Texas. He’s listed at 5-foot-10, 220 pounds.
Notre Dame now has 2 running backs committed in the class of 2024. Young joins 4-star Aneyas Williams, who has been committed to the Irish since December of 2022.
Notre Dame is now up to 18 commits in the class of 2024. The group sits at No. 3 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
