Notre Dame linebacker target Jaiden Ausberry has finalized his commitment details.

Ausberry will make his commitment at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday night in a ceremony at his high school. His commitment will be broadcast on CBS Sports HQ.

In addition to Notre Dame, Ausberry is still considering LSU, Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M.

Ausberry took an official visit to South Bend back in June. He’s ranked as the No. 105 overall player and the No. 8 linebacker in the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Earning Ausberry’s commitment would be a big boost to Notre Dame’s 2023 recruiting class. The Irish are currently ranked No. 2 nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings, but would jump Alabama for the No. 1 spot if Ausberry commits.

Ausberry would the 3rd linebacker to pick Notre Dame so far in 2023. He would join 4-star Drayk Bowen and 3-star Preston Zinter in the fold.

Notre Dame is also hoping to get good news this weekend from 3-star safety Ben Minich and 4-star running back Dylan Edwards. Notre Dame enters this weekend with 20 commitments in the class of 2023.
