Blake Hinson had some fun at Duke’s expense after the Panthers’ upset win over the Blue Devils on Saturday night in Durham.

The Panthers won 80-76, giving them their first-ever win inside of Cameron Indoor Stadium. It was just Pitt’s 4th win ever over Duke in any location and was its first in this series since 2021.

After the final buzzer sounded, Hinson climbed onto the scorer’s table to taunt the Cameron Crazies.

Here’s video of the scene:

Hinson scored a game-high 24 points in the win. He also led the Panthers with 8 rebounds against a Duke team that was missing two starters in Mark Mitchell and Jeremy Roach.

Kyle Filipowski called Hinson’s actions “disrespectful” when talking with reporters after the game.

“Whoever comes into Cameron, they’re going to view this as their championship,” he said. “It was really disrespectful what they did so you know we’re going to have to take that with a grain of salt and remember that for next time whenever anyone steps in the building again.”

The result snapped an 8-game winning streak for Duke. The Blue Devils are now 13-4 overall this season and 4-2 in ACC play.

Duke and Pitt have already met twice this season, so they won’t play again until 2024-25 barring a matchup in the postseason. Duke will play on the road at Louisville on Tuesday night.

Pitt is now 11-7 this season and still has a lot of work to do in order to make it into the NCAA Tournament via an at-large berth. The Panthers will face Georgia Tech on the road on Tuesday.
