Syracuse adds commitment from 7-foot center coming off visit for Duke game
Syracuse basketball has picked up a 7-footer for its 2023 recruiting class.
The Orange landed a commitment from 7-2 center William Patterson on Monday. He made the announcement on his Instagram account.
.@Cuse_MBB has landed a commitment from William Patterson, a 7’2 big, out of New Heights & The Patrick School. It is SU’s first commit for the Class of 2023. Patterson was at the SU-Duke game on Saturday.

Patterson is the first commitment for Syracuse’s 2023 recruiting class as questions surround Jim Boeheim’s future as head coach. Patterson also has scholarship offers from Oklahoma State, Rutgers and TCU.
