A.T. Perry has arrived Wake Forest fans. The former Demon Deacon wideout scored a touchdown in his first NFL game on Sunday.

The New Orleans Saints took Perry in the sixth round of this year’s NFL Draft. It may be early, but Perry is already making plays in the preseason.

Perry caught the pass while turning and fell into the endzone. It looked like Perry may have fumbled the ball into the endzone, but it was deemed a touchdown as the ground caused the ball to spring loose.

Perry headed to the NFL after recording 1,096 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns last season for Wake Forest.

If Perry can have the type of rookie year Chris Olave had with the Saints, watch out.

It looks like the ACC connection in New Orleans is strong, as Perry caught the TD pass from former Florida State QB and Heisman winner Jameis Winston.

The regular season for the Saints starts on Sept. 10 against the Tennessee Titans. Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
