Virginia beats out Virginia Tech, others to land commitment from 3-star in-state ATH
Virginia has picked up a commitment for its 2024 recruiting class. Thomas Dale QB Ethan Minter chose UVA over Virginia Tech, James Madison and Liberty.
Minter, who is being recruited as a multi-position ATH, pledged to the Cavaliers during a Thursday ceremony.

Minter is listed at 6-1, 190 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Minter is rated 3-stars, the No. 29 recruit in the state of Virginia, No. 118 ATH and No. 1,070 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.
Bronco Mendenhall’s staff originally offered Minter in 2021. Tony Elliott’s staff re-offered on Dec. 6, 2022.
