Betting line shifts again in Notre Dame-Ohio State game
The betting line continues to shift in Notre Dame’s Week 1 matchup with Ohio State.
Ohio State was favored by as many as 17.5 points throughout the week, but that line shrunk to 16 at most books on Saturday morning.
According to ESPN’s David Purdum, sharp money came in on Notre Dame on Friday and caused the line to drop.
Sharp money came in on two high-profile underdogs yesterday @SuperBookSports.
A bettor in Colorado took Oregon +17 (vs. Georgia), and a bettor in Nevada took Notre Dame +17 (vs. Ohio St), causing both lines to drop.
Both games attracting good two-way action, per @vegasmurray.

This is a rare moment for Notre Dame. The Irish have only been underdogs by 16+ points on 6 occasions this century. Their last outright win in this circumstance came against UCLA in 2007.
Ohio State is amongst the top favorites to win the national title. The Buckeyes return key playmakers like quarterback CJ Stroud and receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
On the other side, Notre Dame will be trotting out a new quarterback in Tyler Buchner and an inexperienced WR room. Coach Marcus Freeman will also be coaching his first regular season game as the head man at Notre Dame.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
