Tate Rodemaker has reportedly decided what school he will next play at. The former Florida State quarterback was thrust into action after a devastating injury to Jordan Travis. However, Rodemaker entered the portal just days after Christmas.

Now, all signs point to the QB signing on with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. That’s according to 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz:

Rodemaker appeared in 9 games for the Noles in 2023. The QB threw for 510 yards and 5 TDs while completing 57.1% of his passes. The Noles added former Clemson and Oregon State QB DJ Uiagalelei via the transfer portal to replace Rodemaker and Jordan Travis. Travis is expcted to be selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Rodemaker joins a Southern Miss offense that struggled mightily passing the ball in 2023. The Golden Eagles finished with the No. 103 passing offense, the No. 96 scoring offense, and the No. 89 total offense in the nation. The Golden Eagles have also added receiver Larry Simmons and tight end Kyirin Heath, both from Ole Miss.

Florida State has received a commitment from former Oregon State and Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei for the 2024 season.
