Miami will aim for a third straight win when they travel to take on host NC State in Week 10. Miami (6-2, 2-2) has escaped the past 2 games with overtime victories at home vs. Clemson and Virginia.

However, CBS Sports analyst Rick Neuheisel is putting Miami on upset alert as he’s going with the NC State (5-3, 2-2).

“Oh there’s a fine game down there in Raleigh, North Carolina. Miami headed to take on the Wolfpack. You saw Dave Doeren get angry the way his team was treated. They will respond and win again at home. They’re the upset pick beating the Hurricanes.”

This comes weeks after Neuheisel blasted Mario Cristobal for his handling of the late-game situation in the stunning loss to Georgia Tech.

Miami is favored by 4.5 points in the matchup. NC State most recently edged visiting Clemson 24-17, which was a bounce-back effort after a 24-3 loss at Duke.

Miami leads the all-time series 11-5-1 with 4 consecutive victories vs. NC State. Miami narrowly defeated NC State 31-30 in last season’s meeting in Miami Gardens. NC State’s last victory vs. Miami occurred in 2008 with a 38-28 win in Raleigh.

Miami at NC State is slated for an 8 p.m. EST kickoff and will be televised on the ACC Network.
