Former Miami WR Frank Ladson Jr. has found a new home.

Ladson took to social media on Tuesday to announce that he is transferring to UMass to continue his college football career.

UMass will be Ladson’s third team a he wraps up his college career. He joined Miami after beginning his career at Clemson.

In 2022, Ladson was a starting receiver for the Hurricanes. He posted 27 catches for 298 yards and 1 touchdown over 468 offensive snaps in the ’22 campaign.

This past season, Ladson did not record an offensive statistic. Ladson logged just 23 offensive snaps as a fifth-year senior. He memorably recovered an onside kick against Florida State.

Ladson’s first transfer was a homecoming. The Miami native and former South Dade standout signed with Clemson out of high school.

Playing for Dabo Swinney’s Tigers from 2019-to-2021, Ladson caught 31 career passes for 428 yards with 6 touchdowns over 30 games, making 8 starts. The NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for the 2020 pandemic season allows Ladson to play a 6th season of college football as a super senior.
