Miami commit Chance Robinson will visit Florida later this summer, he announced on Monday.

Robinson shared a video on social media sharing the details of his upcoming visit. He will be in Gainesville the weekend of June 9-11.

Here’s the announcement:

Robinson has been committed to Miami since mid-April. He chose the Canes over offers from programs such as Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Michigan and Alabama, amongst others.

He is a big part of Miami’s 2024 recruiting class. He currently ranks as the No. 151 overall player and the No. 22 wide receiver in this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Robinson is also the No. 23 player from the state of Florida.

Miami and Florida have had numerous high-profile recruiting battles over the past year. Robinson, who attends St. Thomas Aquinas, could become another chapter in the Mario Cristobal-Billy Napier recruiting trail rivalry.

Miami currently has 8 commitments in the class of 2024. The group sits at No. 25 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Robinson is the highest-ranked prospect in Miami’s class so far.
