Miami will aim to start a winning streak when they host Virginia this Saturday. The Hurricanes snapped a 2-game losing skid when they edged Clemson 28-20 in double overtime last weekend.

Miami revealed the uniform combination they’ll don at Hard Rock Stadium against Virginia. The Hurricanes will wear white helmets with orange jerseys and white pants for the second consecutive week.

Miami defeated Clemson despite being without starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke (undisclosed injury0, who returns to the lineup against the Cavaliers. Freshman Emory Williams held down the fort while going 24-for-33 with 151 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.

Miami head coach Mario Cristobal says it was a surprise when Van Dyke wasn’t able to play against Clemson but is optimistic the setback is behind the quarterback.

“Last week caught us off guard during the week,” Cristobal said via ESPN.  “He doesn’t have anything that’s serious, but if it takes a certain turn it can delay you, so that’s really what ended up happening. We’re in a good place right now.”

Virginia is coming off a 31-27 upset victory at North Carolina.

Miami leads the all-time series 12-8 against Virginia and won last season’s meeting 14-12 in Charlottesville.

Virginia at Miami is slated for a 3:30 p.m. EST kickoff and will be televised on the ACC Network.
