Tyrique Stevenson, former Miami DB, hauls in 3rd INT of rookie season for Chicago Bears
Tyrique Stevenson is playing incredible football for the Chicago Bears.
The rookie cornerback hauled in his 3rd interception of the 2023 season Saturday against the Atlanta Falcons, high-pointing an ill-advised pass from Taylor Heinicke. Stevenson read Heinicke beautifully and the Falcons QB never saw him.

Stevenson has had an excellent day against the Falcons. He also made a great play earlier in the half, denying a screen pass to Drake London:

Stevenson has 3 pass deflections, 3 tackles and an interception for Chicago thus far. The Bears lead the Falcons 27-17 with just over 10 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter. Chicago has a habit of blowing late leads, so we’ll see if the Bears can hold on with some semblance of playoff hopes still alive.
For the season, the 2nd-round pick has totaled 57 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 3 interceptions and 14 pass deflections. Week 17’s performance has likely been his best game of the season thus far.
