North Carolina reportedly has one of its top transfer targets on campus for an official visit.

Nick Timberlake, a former Towson guard and a proven bucket-getter, told Stock Risers he is in Chapel Hill to see the Tar Heels. That visit will be on the heels of last week’s in-home where UNC coach Hubert Davis traveled to meet with Timberlake last week.

The 6-foot-4 grad transfer entered the transfer portal on March 9 after 5 seasons with Towson. He was a First Team All-CAA selection in each of the last 2 seasons.

Timberlake averaged 17.7 points per game this past season to go along with 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He shot 41.6% on nearly 7 attempts from 3 per game, marking the 2nd consecutive season Timberlake has shot north of 40% from 3 on high volume.

His 17.7 points per game ranked 3rd in the CAA while his 3-point percentage ranked 2nd among qualified players.

The Massachusetts native has more than 100 appearances and 90 starts in his career. He’s a career 12.5-points-per-game scorer and a career 38% 3-point shooter.

On Monday, UNC saw Caleb Love announce he is entering the transfer portal and Brown transfer Paxson Wojcik announce he is transferring to Carolina.
