Notre Dame’s 2024 contest against Army will be part of the program’s Shamrock Series, the Fighting Irish announced on Wednesday.

Notre Dame will face Army at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 23. This will be the third time Notre Dame has played a Shamrock Series game at Yankee Stadium. Previous games at Yankee Stadium were against Army in 2010 and Syracuse in 2018.

The Shamrock Series has been a regular fixture in Notre Dame’s schedule for most of the past 15+ seasons. However, the Fighting Irish did not have a Shamrock Series game in 2023. The last one was Notre Dame’s win over BYU in 2022 in Las Vegas.

Here’s the official announcement:

This game against Army will mark the 100th anniversary of Notre Dame’s famous 13-7 upset win over Army in 1924.

The Shamrock Series will include a number of “educational, service and fan-centric events” for Notre Dame fans in the New York area prior to the game. Notre Dame also typically wears alternate uniforms for the game.

Notre Dame is a perfect 11-0 in Shamrock Series contests.
