Notre Dame has reportedly found its new strength and conditioning coach.

The Fighting Irish spent the entire 2023 season with an interim after the surprising resignation of Matt Balis right before the season began.

Now, the team has reportedly hired Loren Landow, who has approximately 3 decades of experience.

Landow had served five years for the Broncos before he parted ways with the franchise early in 2023 after Denver hired Sean Payton to head its football team. The veteran coach has his own sports performance business and has personally trained Christian McCaffrey, Von Miller, Peyton Manning, and more, according to his website.

Per FootballScoop, Freeman had been discussing the position with multiple experience coaches over the last couple of weeks. Former Indiana coach Aaron Wellman and Alabama coach David Ballou were reportedly also considered for the position in South Bend.

Freeman has racked up an 18-8 record as the head man in South Bend. In 2023, the Irish went 9-3 and earned an appearance in the Sun Bowl. The Irish are set to take on the Oregon State Beavers in the bowl game on Dec. 29 to end the 2023 season.
