Notre Dame vs. BYU will be an alternate-uniform matchup for the ages
Notre Dame is preparing to face BYU in a neutral site game in Las Vegas this weekend.
The matchup is notable for a number of reasons as both teams look to build their case as the nation’s best independent team in 2022. But the uniform battle has started to steal headlines ahead of the crucial matchup.
On Monday, BYU announced it will be wearing all-black uniforms against the Fighting Irish this week. This will be a debut of brand new uniforms for the Cougars.

Notre Dame will also be wearing alternate uniforms in this matchup. The Fighting Irish previously announced all-white uniforms with a gold helmet. The jerseys have numerous details that tie-in to the history of Las Vegas and Notre Dame.

Notre Dame is a 3-point favorite in this game against the Cougars. The Fighting Irish are 4-2 all-time against BYU in this series.
