Tuten originally transferred to Blacksburg from NC A&T, where he totaled over 1,500 yards with 16 total touchdowns across 2 seasons, the majority of which came in 2022.
His first season at Virginia Tech was very strong. Tuten finished the year with 727 rushing yards on 155 carries for an average of 4.7 yards per rush and 8 rushing touchdowns. He’s also a strong receiving threat and totaled 25 receptions for 220 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
