4-star DL prospect set to decide between Miami, Florida State
4-star defensive line prospect Rueben Bain has set his commitment date.
According to 247Sports, Bain will announce his decision on Dec. 16. He’s planning to take visits to both Miami and Florida State before making a final decision.

Miami has long been in the mix for Bain, who attends Miami Central High School. He’s one of the top pass rushers in the country for the class of 2023.
Bain ranks as the No. 73 overall player and the No. 10 defensive lineman in this class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 17 player from the state of Florida.
He would be a major addition for either Florida State or the Canes.
Miami’s 2023 recruiting class is currently the best in the ACC, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. The Canes rank No. 8 in the country while Florida State checks in at No. 17. However, FSU currently has six fewer commits than Miami does.
The Early Signing Period begins on Dec. 21.
