Florida State ended up carrying a 22-10 lead into halftime. The Seminoles are hoping to move to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the ACC with a win on Saturday.
Jordan Travis was a big part of FSU building its big lead over the Hokies. He threw a pair of touchdown passes in the first half, giving him 57 in his FSU career. That means he’s now tied with FSU legend Danny Kanell for 4th on FSU’s all-time TD passes leaderboard.
Florida State is 23-13-1 all-time against Virginia Tech. However, FSU has not won a game in this series since the 2012 season.
