Jordan Addison found the end zone in his first NFL game.

The former Pittsburgh standout got behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense to haul in a deep ball from Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins for a 39-yard touchdown.

Minnesota plans on Sunday’s first-half TD being the first of many scores for Addison. The Vikings selected Addison No. 23 overall in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Addison completed his college career with a standout season at USC, earning All-Pac 12. An 11-game starter, Addison recorded 875 yards and 8 touchdowns on 59 catches as the top target for Caleb Williams’ Hesiman Trophy season.

Prior to USC, Addison spent 2 seasons at Pittsburgh. As a freshman, Addison logged 60 catches for 666 yards and 4 touchdowns. He followed that up with a super sophomore season.

In 2021, Addison was a 14-game starter for a Pittsburgh team that won an ACC championship and reached a New Year’s Six bowl. Addison started all 14 games for the Panthers, recording 100 receptions for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns. He won the Biletnikoff Award for top wide receiver in the country and was named a consensus All-American.
