Pat Narduzzi reportedly confronts Lincoln Riley, Pitt officials suspect tampering in Jordan Addison saga
On Friday night, news broke that star receiver Jordan Addison was heavily leaning toward transferring from Pittsburgh.
Speculation quickly spread that Addison is being courted with a significant NIL package from USC. New Trojans coach Lincoln Riley has already added multiple high-profile transfers this offseason, including quarterback Caleb Williams and receiver Mario Williams.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi called Riley multiple times on Friday to “express his displeasure.” Pitt administrators suspect tampering has occurred, per his report.
On Saturday morning, Thamel reported that Addison is still expected to enter the transfer portal.
Spoke to someone close to star Pitt wide receiver Jordan Addison this morning. The expectation remains he will he will enter the NCAA transfer portal. It was stressed, however, that a return to Pittsburgh remains a viable option.

Addison is one of the best players in all of college football. He won the Biletnikoff Award last season after catching 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Addison’s entry into the portal would be one of the most stunning moves of the offseason. Pittsburgh developed him into one of the top pass catchers in the country and a premier NFL Draft prospect.
How this case plays out could have a wide-ranging impact on the rest of college football.
The deadline to enter the transfer portal and maintain eligibility for next season is May 1.
