Pitt is taking full advantage of the momentum it gained after taking down then-No. 14 Louisville last week, and keeping it rolling into the new week.

On Thursday, the Panthers dropped a new uniform set that features a white helmet for their game against Wake Forest this weekend.

Typically, Pitt has opted for their traditional gold and blue helmet for every game in recent years, and this is the first time they will not don that lid in the 2023 season thus far. It remains to be seen if this is merely an alternate or if the Panthers bring this uniform out more often.

Pat Narduzzi’s team hit rock bottom when it fell to 1-4 following a road loss to Virginia Tech on Sept. 30. But, following a bye week, Pitt was able to knock Louisville from the ranks of the unbeaten in a dominant 38-21 performance.

Sophomore quarterback Christian Veilleux stepped in for benched starter Phil Jurkovec and threw for 200 passing yards and 2 touchdowns against the Cardinals, sparking a reeling offensive attack.

The game between the Panthers and Demon Deacons is set to take place at 3:30 ET on the ACC Network.
